Independence & Transparency
Independent by design
PulmHealth Foundation is a separate legal entity from PulmHealth LLC. The Foundation is governed independently and controls its own research methods, interpretations, and publication decisions.
Separate governance and finances
PulmHealth Foundation is a Colorado nonprofit corporation with its own board of directors, its own governance, and its own finances. It is legally and operationally separate from PulmHealth LLC.
Related-party arrangements are documented
The Foundation may receive data, technology, services, facilities, or other support from affiliated or unaffiliated organizations through written agreements. Transactions involving affiliated entities are reviewed under the Foundation's conflict-of-interest policy and approved by disinterested directors where required.
Research independence
Research conclusions are controlled by the Foundation. Affiliated entities, sponsors, and contributors cannot suppress unfavorable findings, and may not control research methods, analysis, findings, or publication decisions.
Conflict disclosures and recusal
Directors and researchers disclose relevant interests. Conflicted directors recuse themselves from decisions where a conflict exists. Data-use and technology agreements are disclosed where appropriate.
Publication integrity
Findings are published with methods and limitations, using observational, non-causal language where the data do not support causal conclusions. This protects scientific integrity, transparency, and public benefit.
Summary
Separate legal entity, separate governance, separate finances, written related-party agreements, disclosed conflicts, independent review, director recusals, research independence, publication integrity, and no sponsor control of findings.
